De Bruyne faces league leaders

League leaders Anderlecht play champions Racing Genk this afternoon. Anderlecht are unbeaten at home in their last 11 games and they have players who love the ‘big’ games. That should see them through but it won’t be easy against a Genk side that looks more settled than it did a month ago.

Anderlecht should be unchanged with all eyes turning on the front three – Matias Suarez, Dieumerci Mbokani and Milan Jovanovic. As Silvio Proto said recently though, Lucas Biglia is the one player that’s irreplaceable.

Genk have David Hubert, back from injury, and Daniel Tozser – still there – in midfield. Chelsea’s Kevin De Bruyne will be there of course, now on loan at Genk, and there’s also new signing Derrick Tshimanga at left back. It should be cracking match and De Bruyne will obviously be up for it. Sadly, Anthony Vanden Borre – ex Anderlecht – is out of favour at Genk due to ‘attitude’ problems.

Tonight’s other match sees Club Brugge aim to keep in touch with the leaders when they face Beerschot – it should not be difficult.
